App SpokeCalc is a total wheel building app, designed to be used universally and by no means is it tension meter brand specific. You can use it with analogue or digital tension meters after creating custom tension charts inside the app.
No, the App Spokecalc is a web-based app that requires an internet connection. This means it won't take any memory on your device. However, for practical reasons, you can download a shortcut icon to your home screen on a mobile device. For best results, it is advised to be used in the environment of Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome browsers.
The app's interface is designed to match the real-life workflow of a wheelbuilder. First, set up the app by adding a tension meter and saving tension tables. Next, save the components (hubs and rims) with their dimensions. After this, you can connect these components to a newly created wheel. All files you create are saved on the My Files page.
If you're unsure, I suggest starting with the monthly Season Pro membership. It includes almost all of the app's functionalities, except for the Marketplace and Client modules. This option will help you familiarize yourself with the app's interface and workflow, such as wheel creation, file saving, and spoke calculations. Additionally, if you prefer monthly payments or want the flexibility to pause your account during the offseason, this membership is a good choice. However, the most popular option is the annual Master Builder program.
